Question: I have more than a few pets in the house, what oils can I use to help the house smell fresh and clean?
From Dr. Janet Roark, the EO Vet:
CARPET AND RUG FRESHENER RECIPE
• 3/4 c. Baking Soda
• 1/3 c. Borax
• 10 drops Essential Oil of your choice (Lavender, Lemongrass, Cleansing Blend are all good choices.)
DIRECTIONS: Mix together and let sit for at least four hours before use. Sprinkle on carpet. Let sit for at least 20-30 minutes to neutralize odors. Vacuum normally.
Do not allow pets near the area until it is vacuumed up. Take them on a walk or play with them in another room until it's set for 20-30 minutes.
